For UPVC and composite doors — the dominant front-door type across Lisburn and the wider Old Warren, Hilden, Lambeg and the Hillsborough Road estates area — our standard fit is a TS007 3-star anti-snap euro cylinder, sized correctly so it sits flush with the door furniture (anything protruding more than 3mm is itself a snapping risk). For older wooden doors on the Victorian terraces and the original 1930s and 50s semis, we fit BS3621 five-lever mortice locks, the standard many home insurers ask for.
